About ABA Therapy (1:1)

At The Pathways to Change, 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is designed to support children and teens with autism and related developmental differences in ways that matter in everyday life. Each program is written and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and tailored to your child’s strengths, challenges, and family routines.

Our focus is not just on reducing “behaviors,” but on building meaningful skills – communication, independence, emotional regulation, and confidence. Sessions are structured but playful, using evidence-based strategies that feel engaging and achievable for your child.

Services are offered in a one-to-one format, which means your child has dedicated time with a trained behavior technician, guided closely by a BCBA. Depending on your needs, sessions may take place in our clinic, in your home, or via telehealth, with an emphasis on skills that generalize to school, community, and daily life.

We are committed to compassionate, culturally responsive care. You know your child best – we listen first, collaborate on goals, and make sure your child’s voice and preferences are respected in the therapy process.

Not every child needs work in every area. Your BCBA will prioritize goals with you based on what will make life easier and more meaningful for your child and family right now.
